It’s Easy to Find Time for Fraternal Training |
We’ve updated the Fraternal Training page to make our on-demand training more easily accessible. Visit kofc.org/training to find online training for state, council, district and assembly officers, as well as important instruction for handling Operations (including Administration, Finances and Forms), Growth & Retention, and Programs & Engagement. Training is reviewed on a continuing basis, so you will always get the most up-to-date information. Best of all, these on-demand sessions are available to view at any time, on your own schedule, and the average length of each session is only 30 minutes! The Fraternal Training page is also where you can go to register for upcoming episodes of the FLA Live! Webinar series or view previous episodes on-demand. You will also find links to essential Officer Resources and our Library of short how-to videos in the Fraternal Video Library. |
Introducing Membership Enrollment Cards |
Church Drives are about to get easier – and more effective – thanks to a new item: membership enrollment cards. These cards, which you and your brother Knights can hand out before Mass, give men an opportunity to fill out their information and indicate their desire to sign up for e-membership at no cost for the first year. Click here to see the card! We’re also excited to introduce a new how-to guide for councils to successfully implement a membership drive using the new membership enrollment cards. Click below to download the guide! |
These items are available for order on Supplies Online by clicking on the Membership Enrollment Card folder in Membership Recruitment. Reminder: Your council can compete to receive prizes from the Supreme Council Home Office when you meet a minimum of 100% of your 2025-2026 Fraternal Year membership quota between July 1 – October 31, 2025! * |

Programs |
Catholic Citizenship Essay ContestEach year, councils invite children in grades 8-12 to write unique essays on topics of interest. This year’s topic is timely: In an essay of 500-750 words, out of the 267 popes that have led the Catholic Church, who are your three favorite popes and why? Contact schools, parish families, and home school groups as soon as possible to promote this program. Students should write their essay in September as judging takes place at the council level in October. Your Council will be amazed at the beautiful write-ups you receive. For more information, please review the program’s Guidebook. |
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month: Sept. 15 – Oct. 15Share this poster with your council and parish to highlight some of the most important saints of the Americas this month. The Order has also launched new Faith in Action programs that appeal to Hispanic communities including Bright Futures, Celebrating Our Catholic Heritage, and Remembering Our Faithful Departed. Consider running at least one of those programs this fraternal year! |
Help Provide the Gift of Warmth |
Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids® is a vital program that provides the gift of warmth to children in need. Through the dedication of councils across the United States and Canada, 1.5 million new winter coats have been distributed to children across all 50 U.S. states and all 10 Canadian provinces since the program began in 2009. Through our partnership with Knights Gear, cases of high-quality winter and lightweight coats are available to councils at discounted prices (pricing can be found here in the US and here in Canada). To help councils with their fundraising efforts, we have developed a new Coats for Kids Fundraising Guide. The toolkit and all associated marketing assets are available to fraternal leaders in the U.S. and Canada through Supplies Online under Faith in Action > Fundraising Guides. As fraternal leaders, please work with your councils to let them know these fundraising resources are now available! |
