Join Us Now If anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? – 1 John 3:17  Brother Knights, We enter the new year committed to the vision of Blessed Father Michael McGivney to extend the invitation of Knighthood to all Catholic men who are worthy. On behalf of our State Deputy Ron Alonzo, I’d like to ask each of you to consider, after each Mass you attend, asking at least one Catholic man to join your council. Studies have shown that 40% of Catholic men would join an organization like the Knights if they were simply asked. As our councils grow, we grow in the service and programs we can offer our parishes. One Knight – One Man – Every Mass. That’s all we ask (but you’re welcome to ask more).  There no longer is a need for messy Forms 100 to join. In fact, we should all quit using these relics of 1882. Have him join on the spot at kofc.org/join. Have your council number ready for him to enter and your membership number as the proposer. He’ll be a Knight on the spot and a member of your council once he’s vetted and attends an Exemplification.  As an incentive to you for signing up new members, the State Council is giving away three cruises to proposers from across the state. This is a four night cruise from Galveston to Cozumel on Royal Caribbean’s Mariner Of The Seas September 11-15, 2025. You will receive one entry in the drawing for each new member you recruit from today through the end of February, even if he just joins online. So start right away and let’s see who can recruit the most members. See the ship to whet your appetite here. (BTW – your wife can sign men up too, or get other men’s wife to sign them up).
