Join Us Now But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people…” Luke 2:10 Worthy State Officers, Past State Deputies, Major Directors, Diocesan Deputies, Assistant Diocesan Deputies, District Deputies, Grand Knights and Financial Secretaries, December is here and the Christmas holiday is less than 3 weeks away. As I am sure there are still plenty of presents you still have to buy, there is still work to be done in your diocese, districts and councils. Let’s make sure we move into 2025 as strong and as vibrant as possible. As we reach the midpoint of the fraternal year, take some time for online training! Conducted by experienced Fraternal Trainers, these hour-long sessions provide practical guidance and useful tips to enhance your skills and keep your council running successfully. Register for upcoming online sessions by clicking on the links below. Even more sessions have been recorded and are available to watch on demand! Trainings are archived after each live session, and can be found in the library of on demand training. Mid-Year Conferences Diocesan Deputies: The schedule and presenters for your conferences has been sent out. Now is time to start advertising those conferences. There will be some good information that brother Knights across the state need to hear. Let’s focus on getting our council leaders to them. Reminder: Send me a copy of your sign in sheet with a list of any dignitaries in attendance. Pictures are always great as well. Ongoing Challenge One Knight-One Man-Every Mass I know this was an October Challenge, but why would we limit ourselves to just one month. Keep going and help Texas be #1 in the Order! By this simple act – your council could easily make your Star Council goal this month. You’d probably double it. There isn’t a better gift that you can give a man of your parish than the gift of membership in the Knights of Columbus. All you have to do is ask. The harvest is there – we just need to bring it in. The Fraternal Leader Advisory which comes out on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, will have the updated training schedule and we will keep you advised through this email each month. Be sure you are checking this out for some great information. Fraternal Leader Advisory Archive Diocesan Deputies & District Deputies, reach out to your Councils and do an audit on the social media accounts that they have.
