Important Reminders for Fraternal Leaders<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
District Deputy<\/strong>Encourage your councils to submit the Columbian Award Application<\/a> (#SP-7) as soon as they earn 16 program credits<\/a>. This ensures timely processing. They should continue to file the Fraternal Programs Report Form<\/a> (#10784) for all additional programs conducted.Check on the progress of each of your councils in earning the Star Council Award<\/a>. Work with the field agent to conduct a district Fraternal Benefit Seminar.Encourage councils to appoint a nominating committee to recommend officers for the next fraternal year. Have the committee look beyond the usual volunteers to find a good mix of candidates representing fresh ideas and sound council practices.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Financial Secretary<\/strong>Timely processing of member additions and changes is critical as we approach the end of the fraternal year. If your council is on track to earn Star Council, all form 100s need to be processed by June 30. While paper forms can still be submitted, the preferred method of processing new members is via the Candidate Tab on Officers Online<\/a>.Immediately after officer elections submit the Report of Officers Chosen for the Term<\/a> (#185) and Service Program Personnel Report<\/a> (#365) using the Member Management application.
