District Deputy<\/strong>Conduct a quarterly district meeting with council leaders to get a quick status report, discuss best practices and struggles, and provide support where needed.Verify your councils have submitted the Report of Officers Chosen for the Term<\/a> (#185), Service Program Personnel Report<\/a> <\/em>(#365), and Semiannual Council Audit<\/a> (#1295). Grand Knight<\/strong>Meet regularly with your Pastor<\/a> to discuss how your council can serve the parish and community<\/a>.Appoint a committee to work with the Financial Secretary on updating member contact information. It is essential that a council have a valid phone number and email address for every member on the roster. Use personal contacts, parish directories, internet searches, etc. to help gather the information.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Financial Secretary<\/strong>If your council accounting period ends June 30, then November 15 is the deadline to ensure that your council submits the proper IRS Form 990<\/a> (US Councils only). Keep Christ in Christmas<\/strong>Each year, we receive hundreds of high-quality entries<\/a> from children for the Christ in Christmas Poster Contest. Reach out to the schools, homeschool groups, and CCD programs in your area to organize a contest for children in grades K-8. Council winners are due to their state councils by early February. For those jurisdictions with regional competitions, they are due in January. For more information, review the Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest Guidebook<\/a>. Each year\u2019s winners are also featured in Christmas cards<\/a> that can be purchased by councils.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Quarterly Incentives for District Deputies<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Paying Your Council’s Supreme Council Assessments<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Your council statements are available through the Order\u2019s website www.kofc.org<\/a> in the Reports tab in Officers Online and can be viewed and downloaded by any officer that has access to Officers Online, when viewing council data. The following council officers have access to Officers Online: grand knights, financial secretaries, deputy grand knights, advocates, treasurers, and membership directors.
Please note that a tutorial is available at www.kofc.org\/viewstatements<\/a> that will guide you through the steps to access and review your council\u2019s billing statement online prior to submitting your payment for the amount due to the Supreme Council.

As announced last month, new materials and resources are available to help you renew the culture of invitation in your councils and communities. You can download and order these materials via Supplies Online (accessed via Officers Online).
