District Deputy<\/strong>
Review the\u00a0Program Forms Reference Guide<\/a>\u00a0with your councils.\u00a0Encourage councils to submit all forms and applications early and via online submission.\u00a0Ensure councils hold their election of officers by June 15 and\u00a0submit the\u00a0Report of Officers Chosen for the Term<\/a>\u00a0(#185) and\u00a0Service Program Personnel Report<\/a>\u00a0(#365)\u00a0by June 30.\u00a0Submitting these forms via Member Management is the best way to ensure officers and directors receive timely\u00a0access to Officers Online<\/a>\u00a0and critical communications from the Supreme Council.Plan to attend your jurisdiction organizational meeting and then schedule your district meeting shortly thereafter using our\u00a0recommended agenda<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0notes<\/a>\u00a0as a guide.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Continue to submit\u00a0Fraternal Program Report Form<\/a>\u00a0(#10784) for program activity upon completion of every event. This report gives us important real time data on council activities. Your inputs are used in ongoing evaluation and improvements to our Faith in Action programs.Schedule a transition meeting with outgoing and incoming officers and directors.Complete the\u00a0Fraternal Benefit Seminar Form<\/a>\u00a0(#11077)\u00a0as soon as possible after participating in an approved seminar.\u00a0For awards consideration these forms must be received\u00a0by June 30<\/strong>.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Financial Secretary<\/strong>
If your council\u2019s annual accounting period ends Dec. 31, then May 15 was the deadline to submit the proper\u00a0IRS form 990<\/a>\u00a0(US Councils only). Ensure that this paperwork was filed.Timely processing of member additions and changes is critical as we approach the end of the fraternal year.\u00a0If your council is on track to earn Star Council, all form 100s need to be processed by June 30.\u00a0The quickest and easiest way to process form 100s is via the\u00a0Candidate Tab on Officers Online<\/a>.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Other suggestions include attending sporting events like a minor league baseball game, organizing a group hike or serving at a Special Olympics event.
