In His Words: St. John Paul II Addresses the Knights of ColumbusFrom his election in 1978 until his death in 2005, Pope John Paul II addressed more than two dozen messages to the Knights of Columbus, from messages of welcome and appreciation to the K of C Board of Directors to formal greetings sent to the annual Supreme Convention. The pope’s words were often characterized by appreciation and admiration for the Order’s work, as well as by reflections about its mission in the Church and the world today. Knights Support Victims in Ukrainian CitiesThe cities of Chernihiv, in northern Ukraine, and Irpin, near Kyiv, were both devastated by the Russian invasion. Knights of Columbus from Blessed Mykolay Charnetsky Council 16890 in Irpin recently stepped in to help residents with donations of food, medicine and more. WATCH HERE |
