Knights of Columbus jurisdiction leaders Orderwide gathered in New Haven, Conn., June 8-12, for the 2022 Organizational Meeting of State Deputies. Events included Masses, keynote addresses from the supreme knight and supreme chaplain, leadership training and workshops, and the installation of newly elected state deputies. During the meeting, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly reiterated his call for Knights to be “Knights of Eucharist,” particularly in support of the National Eucharistic Revival, and he announced a new pro-life initiative to increase council support for pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes.
 
‘Lead with Courage and Conviction’In his keynote address at the Organizational Meeting of State Deputies, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly called on Knights of Columbus state deputies to lead with courage, trust in the Lord and make prayer a priority. He also announced a new initiative called Aid and Support After Pregnancy, or “ASAP.” Through the program, launching July 1, the Supreme Council will give $100 for every $500 a council donates to a pregnancy resource center or a maternity home.To read more about the meeting and to view photos, click here.
 
The Eucharist: Source of Our Healing and HopeThe National Eucharistic Revival, a three-year initiative called for by the U.S. Catholic Conference of Catholic Bishops and supported by the Knights of Columbus, will begin Sunday, June 19 — the feast of Corpus Christi in the United States.Featuring interviews with top Catholic speakers and inspiring portraits of eucharistic devotion, The Eucharist: Source of Our Healing and Hope is a 19-minute video that seeks to show the truth of the Real Presence and inspire Catholics to renew and deepen their devotion to Christ in the Eucharist.Watch the full video, a short trailer, and other resources for the National Eucharistic Revival at kofc.org/Eucharist.
 
 
Knights of the EucharistFrom coast to coast and in jurisdictions around the world, Knights play a role in strengthening eucharistic faith in their parishes: regularly participating in Mass, organizing Holy Hours, and leading eucharistic processions.Now, with the launch of the National Eucharistic Revival this month, all members are urged to deepen their devotion to Jesus Christ in the holy Eucharist through prayer, faithful attendance at Mass and adoration.
