More than 175 active-duty personnel and veterans from the United States military participated in the annual Warriors to Lourdes pilgrimage from May 10-16 in Lourdes, France. The pilgrimage, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, offered servicemen and women a time to engage in religious activities available at the renowned Catholic pilgrimage site. |

‘A Better Me as I Go Back Home’Cadet officer Rhyan Ritter experienced a profound spiritual transformation during the 8th annual Warriors to Lourdes pilgrimage, an event sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA.“Coming here and being in such a rich spiritual, sacred place has helped my heart open up and see things from a different light that helped take this tension off my shoulders,” explained Ritter, who is an officer cadet in the U.S. Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. “Lourdes has given me the strength to keep going and live more faithfully as a Catholic.”To read more and view photos, click here. |

Evangelizing Culture with Truth and LoveSupreme Knight Patrick Kelly delivered remarks to the graduating class of the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Washington, D.C., May 10. Twelve students received graduate-level degrees in theology. Supreme Chaplain Archbishop William E. Lori of Baltimore was the principal celebrant and homilist for the graduation Mass, which was held in the Redemptor Hominis Church at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, also in Washington.
