“In everything give thanks.” -1 Thessalonians 5:18
This year, for many of us, Thanksgiving looks different. Our gatherings might be smaller and our traditions might be modified, but in spite of all this — hope rings as we enter the season of giving.
Hope — that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, Knights of Columbus members and donors have come together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal.
Thanks to you, through our Leave No Neighbor Behind initiative, we were able to provide more than $1.5M to support parishes, families and communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Thanks to you, an additional 132 ultrasound machines have been installed in pregnancy centers throughout the U.S.
Thanks to you, to date, more than $25 million has been committed to help persecuted Christians in the Middle East and beyond.
And…Thanks to your kindness and outpouring of generosity we have already surpassed our Giving Tuesday goal! Your generosity has inspired our donor to increase the match to $250,000!
Through our Coats for Kids campaign, imagine how many children will receive a warm coat this winter.
Today and every day, we give thanks to the Lord for the blessing of being able to give back. We are especially thankful for you — our members, benefactors, and supporters.
Thanks to your sustained support, lives will continue to be changed for the better.
Wishing you and your family a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!
In Christ,
Patrick Diener
Director, Knights of Columbus Charities
